Welcome to the homepage of Pleasant Union Congregational Christian Church. Our church is a Bible believing and teaching rural church in Hamilton County, Illinois. We are located approximately 12 miles northeast of McLeansboro, Illinois, in a settlement known as Blairsville. Our congregation consists of all age groups coming together for Bible teaching, worship, and fellowship.

DECLARATION OF PRINCIPLES
This body is unalterably opposed to creeds of men, to bind the conscience of either the individual or the church; also opposed to popery and party names and declares unceasing war against sectarianism.
We stand for:
1	The Bible, the only rule of faith and practice.
2	Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church.
3	Christian character, the test of fellowship.
4	Christian, the name of the followers of Christ.
5	Individual interpretation of the Scriptures.
6	The onesness of the body of Christ and the union of all Christians.

This Declaration is taken from the Constitution and By-Laws of the Fairfield Association of Congregational Christian Churches, of which Pleasant Union belongs.
